USSR in south india?

Have you heard of a USSR type communist rule in Andhra pradesh?

During 1946-1951 peasants from telengana region agitated against Nizam and formed a government. The main motto was to write off all the debt.

So a revolt bursted, around 3000 villages (41000 sq.kilometeres) came under pesants control. They successfully ruled for few years.

Landlords are either killed or driven out and the lands were redistributed. This revolt is backed by communists.

These farmers even fought against indian military and succeeded in it through guerilla attacks.

There was a USSR style government prevailed.

The violent phase of the movement came to an end in 1951 after the accession of hyderabad into the Indian union in 1949.
