Poorism, is "is a type of tourism, much akin to slumming, in which tourists travel to less developed places to observe people living in poverty".
Sources tells that this type of tourism is particularly popular in areas like Ethiopia and India.
Well, how to take this concept?
Can we say, it is Rich mocking at Poor?
Can we say it as a sarcasm?
Is it not humiliating the second person living in the same world...?
On the brighter side, we can say that it tells a rich person "how blessed he is" which makes him/her more grateful to society.
Anyways, Poorism is highly debatable...
